Aimed an new drivers, this interactive drama focuses on the impact of speed on your driving, and how what happens in your life will have consequences when you get behind the wheel.
A half morning visit from Edward, starts with classroom based learning activities, workshops and self learning, inspired by real speed awareness courses.
The learners time with Edward ends with the show. It runs for an hour, and use the vehicle of a talk to highlight the effects of speeding on our lives as a background against which Edward’s struggles play out.
The show itself featured audience participation and involvement in observation tasks and speeding facts and figures, all designed to encourage learner drivers to, as facilitator Edward says, “drive like it matters“.
